KU Law Alumni Association

Bosung College, established in 1905, produced its first 51 graduates in 1907:  33 from the Specialized Department of Law and 18 from the Specialized Department of Economy.

The graduates established “Bosung College Gathering” on March 15, 1907, which later became KU Alumni Association.

KU uses the word “association” rather than “reunion” because the Alumni Association transcends mere social gathering.

KU Alumni Association has led the history of Korea with a grand vision and mission.

The Law Alumni Association, which has been taking the lead in the operation of KU Alumni Association, was the base of the national salvation movement during the Japanese colonial era and a bedrock of democratization and industrialization after gaining independence. The association has developed into an indispensible organization that shapes the legal culture of humanity along with KU Law School.
